for Burrington Farm Barn Holiday Lets

Thank you for choosing to book with Burrington Farm Barns. We look forward to welcoming you.

When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Our prices are quoted per week (Saturday to Saturday) per barn. The accommodation is available from 2.30 pm on the day of arrival to 10 am on the day of departure. Upon departure you are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition.

Booking confirmation

Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of 30% of the accommodation rental. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of later cancellation.

Payment of balance

The balance is due by you not later than 8 weeks before the holiday commencement date. For bookings made within the 8 weeks of the start of your holiday you are required to pay the full price before the booking will be confirmed. Payment can be made by cheque.

So long as written notice of cancellation is received not less than 8 weeks before commencement date of the holiday you will not be liable to pay any outstanding balance. However, if cancellation is notified within 8 weeks of the holiday commencement date you will be liable to pay the full balance unless we are successful in re-letting the accommodation. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.

Should the barns not be available due to circumstances beyond our control, (like fire or flood), we cannot guarantee to provide alternative accommodation, in which case all sums will be returned to you in full. You will have no claim against us.

Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

We operate a strict no smoking policy within the properties. If you smoke in a barn you will not only be liable for the cleaning of all the fabrics you will also be liable for the loss of earnings whilst the barn is out of use.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any members of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

We accept one well behaved dog by prior arrangement.

Information folder

There is a ‘Welcome’ pack in each barn. This contains important information about the property and local services. Please read this carefully.
