for Burrington Farm B&B

Thank you for choosing to book with Burrington Farm B&B. We look forward to welcoming you.

When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Prices

All our rooms are double, the price quoted is per room and is inclusive of full English breakfast for two people. Single occupancy rates are available.

Payment

We do not have the facility to take cards so payment is by cash or cheque with banker’s card.

Cancellation

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 28 days before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.

Arrival

Your accommodation is available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.

Departure

Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.30 on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.

Availability

Should the accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control, (like fire or flood), we cannot guarantee to provide alternative accommodation, in which case all sums will be returned to you in full. You will have no claim against us.

Damage

Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Smoking

We operate a strict no smoking policy within the property. If you smoke in a bedroom you will not only be liable for the cleaning of all the fabrics you will also be liable for the loss of earnings whilst the room is out of use.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any members of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Dogs

We accept dogs by prior arrangement. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and can sleep in the kitchen or boiler room.

Guestscan

We are members of The Guestscan Association, an unincorporated association of holiday accommodation owners and their booking agents whose address is 46-48 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4LY and who maintain a database of information about guests who have, in the reasonable opinion of members, caused the member to suffer loss or damage. The Guestscan Association is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and have given appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner.

By booking with us you authorise us to report the circumstances surrounding any loss or damage you cause during your stay and to share the information you provide in relation to your booking (including your name, address etc) with other members of the Guestscan Association and Guestscan Limited, who may add your details to the Guestscan Association database. This may result in other members of the Guestscan Association refusing to accept bookings from you in the future..

The Guestscan Association and Guestscan Limited will not share your information with any other party for advertising or marketing purposes and will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies).Our Data Protection Policy is available at http://www.guestscan.co.uk/privacy-policy.html.

The Guestscan Association will not hold your information for any longer than is necessary to protect the interests of members and the length of time will depend on the severity of the report that is made about any loss, damage or unacceptable behaviour during your stay. In any event, your information will be destroyed automatically or before the fourth anniversary of the date that the report is made.

You may request copies of the information that we hold about you at any time by writing to Guestscan Limited at 46-48 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4LY. We may make a small charge which will not exceed £10.

If you think that the information we have about you or records of your stay are incorrect or misleading, you should contact Guestscan Limited as soon as possible at the above address so that we can take steps to correct our records where necessary.
